Puck Love by Carmen Jenner – The story of NHL badboy Van Ross and country music star Stella Hart.
I was really surprised by this story. I was expecting it to be more about hockey, and to get more behind the scenes in the locker room than we did. Yeah there was some, but really it was about Van and Stella. I enjoyed this book, and honestly it was a much needed break from the three exams I have this week. It was light and fun, and it still had an emotional connection that tied the reader to the characters. It was a little back and forth with the characters, and I would have like to see more intimate moments. I get she’s an innocent little flower, but he’s corrupting her so I would have like to see just a little bit more of that corruption.
Overall, I really enjoyed the book. If you are looking for a fun read to distract you from all the heavy crap in your life this is it.

Men want to own her, women want to be her—everyone wants a piece of her, and Stella? Well, she wants out.
