CODY: Southside Skulls Motorcycle Club by Jessie Cooke is about Cody and a few different ladies.
This was interesting to read. It was incredibly real for a MC romance. The conflict of relationships were something I could see in real life. Cody went to prison as a teen, and when he gets out he starts to really experience life for the first time. Deciding to be with his first love, Maci, or his new love Harley is only one of the conflicts. He has to learn how to let people in, in general, including the club he’s always dreamed of being a part of.
I was incredibly conflicted throughout about which woman I wanted him to end up with. In the end I feel the right decision was made by the author. Although it wasn’t how I expected the story to go initially.
Overall, I enjoyed the story. I got a little insight into how the club felt about Angel’s betrayal, but I’m a little unsatisfied with the response so far. I feel that it’s not very realistic. I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop.
