Where does Sacred Hart rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I’ve never been huge into audiobooks, but this one has won me over. The pace forced me to slow down and absorb the nuances of the story.
What about Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin ’s performance did you like?
I absolutely love Vanessa Edwin. The rise and fall of her voice, and perfect use of inflection. Not just with dialog, but with the inner monologue portions. The loving way she spoke of the daughter added more to the story than just reading would. Teddy’s raspy voice makes Ryan even sexier, if that’s possible. The raspy edge made all the aching in Ryan’s words hurt even more.
Any additional comments?
I don’t want to give anything away from the story, but this should definitely be read when you have time to appreciate it’s beauty. Don’t just swallow without chewing or you’ll won’t get the full experience. I loved the story, and Ryan has earned a place in my heart.
